T’was the night before Christmas and all through the house,
every creature was stirring, yes, even a mouse!
The ants were a crawling, the spiders would stare,
Why, even the earwigs had not a care!
Then what to my wondering eyes should appear,
A Barrier van was approaching us near!
A well dressed young fellow, with shirt of bright red,
and a Barrier Pest Control hat on his head.
Up the sidewalk he came, so tall and so grand.
We ran to the door and reached out our hand.
“Come in, come in” we excitedly said.
“The bugs are all over, it’s awful I dread!”
He didn’t say much, just nodded and smiled.
His confidence calmed me like that of a child.
To each room he went, so careful and clean.
His pride in his work so visibly seen.
He treated each window, baseboard, bedroom and door,
The crawl space too, and around the edge of the floor.
No spot left unturned, nothing else left to treat,
We bid him farewell as he drove down the street.
No more spiders, or ants, not even a mouse.
Thanks to Barrier Pest, I can relax in my house!!
