There are a few simple ways to limit exposure to unwanted pests in and around your home. I’ll go over the easiest ones here.
When discussing indoor pest management, always consider what you need to live in comfort. Water & Food are essential for all things. Makes sure you remove any lingering sources of water from your home, like under houseplants, that leaky pipe under the kitchen sink, or the eternally damp shower mat; any moisture can bring the bugs. Crumbs, pet food, and even garbage are incredible and ready sources of sustenance for pests of all kinds. Make sure to put effort into minimizing refuse in and around your home.
But there’s always outdoors…
You can also help keep pests at bay by following a few steps here. Go around your home and look for any small points of entry, even tiny holes, which may be enormous for many pests in the Treasure Valley. Take care to block them up entirely.
Once you get the inside and the perimeter of your home sorted out, take one more step out into the yard. Trim bushes and trees away from your home. Dismantle any piles of wood, stones, or any similar spot where bugs and rodents may be living. Keep your lawn healthy and a bit long, but mow regularly.
With these steps done, make sure to give Barrier a call; we’ll make sure all that hard work you did doesn’t go to waste.
