Or should I say the ants come marching…right into your kitchen, the bathroom, the living room and your cold cereal. These cute little projects go wherever you want them to because you (or your sweet kiddo) are the feet! And when you’re done with them you can march them right into the trash! Because unlike real ants, they aren’t resilient! Best kind of pest ever!
Materials Needed:
- Construction paper (whatever color you’d like!)
- A pipe cleaner
- Googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
And here are the simple steps to make this little guy!
Step 1 – Cut out 3 circles
Step 2 – Cut out 2 finger holes in 2 of the circles.
Step 3 – Glue the body and head together.
Step 4 – Make 2 holes in the head and lace the pipe cleaner through the holes from the front so the antennae pop up from the back of the head and then shape the ends. He’ll look like he has a little unibrow. (What more can we ask for right? Ants and uni-brows!)
Step 5 – Attach the googly eyes and a mouth cut from another color of construction paper.
There you have it! A little marching ant finger puppet with a unibrow! If you like it enough you can make a whole army of ants!
