Tis’ the season to be jolly! That is, unless you wake up Christmas morning and your perfectly wrapped gifts have been gnawed on by tiny little teeth! Indeed, rodent season is upon us. Thus it’s time to be on the look-out for those little vermin.
There are a couple key things to look out for if you are suspicious of rodent activity. First and foremost, mouse droppings. Mice have a bad tendency to leave it EVERYWHERE! And that term is no understatement. From backyards to attics, closets to drawers and cabinets. Depending on the severity of the infestation you may also see nibbling/gnawing on wiring, wood, vinyl, sheetrock, paper, fabric etc. They may be trying to gain access to another area, building a nest or just sharpening those teeth that never stop growing.
Mice are known to reside in messy places so keep your home and yard nice and clean! Beware of those piles of firewood, leaves and the bale of straw that’s still on the porch from this fall.
