Barrier Pest Control is hiring a Pest Control Technician in Meridian to serve homeowners throughout one of the fastest-growing communities in the Treasure Valley. This role supports neighborhoods such as Paramount, Bridgetower, Tuscany, SpurWing, Bainbridge, and Saguaro Canyon, along with nearby areas including Eagle, Star, Kuna, and West Boise.
Technicians serving Meridian are dispatched from our Boise pest control office and provide pest control services to thousands of new homes built across Ada County each year.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Pest Control Technician to support our expanding customer base in Meridian. This role combines field service, customer education, and sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors while helping homeowners solve pest problems.
You will inspect homes, perform treatments, and recommend preventative pest protection plans that help Meridian families keep their homes pest-free year-round.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Local Sales
Educate homeowners throughout Meridian—especially in neighborhoods like Paramount, Bridgetower, Tuscany, SpurWing, and Bainbridge—about pest activity, treatment options, and preventative solutions.
Recommend seasonal pest protection programs including rodent control, mosquito treatments, spider control, and general pest prevention plans.
Build long-term relationships with homeowners by delivering reliable and professional service across Meridian and surrounding communities.
Follow up on customer inquiries and secure new service agreements along your daily route.
Technical / Service Duties
Perform pest control services across Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Star, and West Boise.
Inspect homes for pest entry points, moisture problems, and environmental conditions that attract insects and rodents.
Apply pest control materials safely using company tools and protective equipment.
Document services and follow-up recommendations in the company CRM.
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle while working throughout Meridian neighborhoods such as Paramount, Bridgetower, Bainbridge, Tuscany, and Saguaro Canyon.
Team & Operations
Coordinate with the Boise office team to manage service routes and customer scheduling.
Participate in regular training to maintain Idaho pest control licensing and professional certifications.
Support community outreach and local promotions that strengthen Barrier Pest Control’s presence across the Treasure Valley.
