Position Overview
We are hiring a Pest Control Sales Technician to serve our growing customer base in Nampa. This hybrid role combines service, customer education, and sales—ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, solving problems, and connecting with homeowners.
You will diagnose pest issues, provide treatments, and recommend ongoing plans that help families stay protected. Your work directly improves the customer experience and strengthens our position as the top choice for local pest control in Nampa and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Local Sales
Educate homeowners across Nampa—especially residents in communities like Copper River Basin, Brookdale Estates, Franklin Village, Meriwether Park, and Southern Ridge—about pest activity, treatment plans, and prevention.
Identify opportunities to promote seasonal services (e.g., Christmas lights installation in Nampa, rodent protection, mosquito control).
Build trust with customers by delivering friendly, reliable service that represents the best of Barrier Pest Control in the greater Nampa region.
Follow up on leads and secure new service agreements within your route.
Technical / Service Duties
Perform high-quality pest control treatments for homes and businesses throughout the Treasure Valley, including Nampa, Caldwell, Middleton, Star, Kuna, and Melba.
Inspect structures for pest activity, entry points, and environmental conditions.
Use company tools, protective equipment, and materials safely and professionally.
Accurately record services, chemicals used, and follow-up notes in the CRM.
Maintain a clean, well-organized vehicle to professionally represent the brand while driving through popular Nampa neighborhoods such as Copper River Basin, Brookdale Estates, Southern Ridge, Meriwether Park, and Franklin Village.
Team & Operations
- Communicate route needs and customer feedback with office staff at the Nampa location.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain Idaho licensing and certifications.
- Support local community events and seasonal promotions that strengthen our presence in Nampa and nearby communities like Caldwell, Middleton, and Kuna.
Qualifications
Great communication and customer service skills.
Motivated to earn commissions through educational, no-pressure sales.
Ability to work independently and manage a daily route across Nampa and nearby cities.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, climbing ladders).
Willing to obtain Idaho pest control licensing (we provide full training).
Sales or pest control experience is helpful but not required.
